


I want to thank @vengmau for mentioning titanium dioxide to get white macarons. I’ve tried to many tricks and the titanium dioxide did it for me.
Also even though I’ve made macarons for years, I never understood Teflon. I saw it being used but other bakers but it never worked for me. Turns out, I was using a different kind. In the 3rd picture, left is the glossier Teflon sheet that worked and the right was the one that kept giving me brittle feet. I love this subreddit.
