Usually my partner is the one who rocks the hell out of the awesome Kenji recipes, but she’s not into Shin instant noodles. I got to test my chops in the kitchen and I am proud of myself. Mine was considerably more “beefy” than I expected it to be, but that’s not a bad thing at all! I used short ribs and oxtail both. Fresh udon from my grocer’s refrigerated section, pan seared for that bit of crisp. I will be changing up the noods for next time. They were fine, but …too much.
