So I just this ghost pepper plant from a nursery. I don’t know much about growing peppers. Any advice or recommendations? Is it looking healthy or is there anything I should do? I’m in Texas so spring is mild and summers are hot.

You can prune off the little leaves at the very bottom. They will allow more energy to go to top growth. I live in the Southern US also, and I have to keep my plants in partial shade during the summer. I might try shade cloth this season.
I grew reapers and ghosts for the first time in Texas last year. The summers with ridiculous heat and no rain were really difficult to keep them producing – dropped flowers often. I had mine in grow bags to allow them to be moved and I’m glad I did by June the direct afternoon sunlight was way too much for them. I ended up using an Amazon watering system with a water timer to keep them hydrated every other day. My ghosts got to like 4ft tall and super large butonly got maybe like 30 peppers from them because the heat kept stressing them.
You probably need to upsize that pot pretty soon and right now is as good as anytime to move outside as well probably have 1.5 months or so before getting into the high heat days.
Any soil or fertilizer I should transplant into? Ive been moving it outside during the day and inside at nights
