I bought a bag of ramen but it didn’t come with any flavor packets! Im dog sitting for a week and need these for snacks. I’ve never added my own spices but I like the fishy/onion taste! What can I buy?! Bonus points if it’s gluten free #celiac

Buy some better than bouillon?
Fish oil and some chili garlic paste or flakes would go a long way if you get those ingredients, otherwise garlic powder, cayenne, paprika, salt, cumin, all of those would do wonders to flavor your broth and noodles. Hot sauce too
Thank you!🙏 ❤️
I like to stir fry some vegetables and toss the (cooked, drained) noodles in with some teriyaki sauce (Soy Vey is good)
Campbells has Pho Broth flavour. Throw that in with some eggs and veggies.
Gluten-free fish sauce

looks like someone needs to make [ginger scallion sauce](https://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/ginger-scallion-sauce-51209020)
the soy and vinegar can just be whatevs not what they say so don’t let that stop you. i have also just done the scallions and ginger in a food processor – it doesn’t look as cool but it tastes the same.
Miso paste!
r/glutenfree and r/celiac both have a lot of posts about these noodle and making GF ramen broth
I use pimped up GF Better than Boullion— not all are GF, so read the labels for barley malt and food starch. Usually I use chicken and vegetable flavors, but sometimes I add others too in addition or to replace one or both.
Plus, I add soy sauce, garlic powder, dehydrated onions, onion powder, and a lot of powdered ginger. And then some of: fresh ginger if I have it, chopped fresh garlic, cooked protein of whatever I have available, eggs, hoisin/oyster/fish sauce, sesame oil, etc. It’s never the same twice but it’s always good. You can totally customize it to however you want.
Trader Joe’s sells a carton of miso ramen broth that’s pretty decent. Also check the international section of your grocery store, there’s almost always instant miso packets there.
If you have an h mart or an Asian grocery store near you just go there and buy any pre-made stock.
