Just opened up the grill for the first time this year…looks to be mold and rust? Anything I can/should do?

    Run all the burners on high for a while, then scrape away. Maybe a light coat of oil.

    I would turn on high for everything to burn down and then scrub with some grill cleaner.

    Just put fire in there. No reason to worry about anything organic inside of a grill

    Light’er up let it burn then oil up the grates

    Light. Burn Hot for 10 minutes or until all smoking has ceased. Scrape with a grill brush. Cut the grill off. Once the temperature drops to between 325 and 300, Spray with Pam. Wipe down. Good to go.

    I see rust and crude. Not sure I see mold. Kill it with fire.🔥
