Went to sushi yugen for the $95 omakase dinner (there’s also a 275 dollar option which is a larger menu in a seperate back room). The Omakase was fresh and the chef was very friendly and reasonably talkative which I always enjoy at the omakase counter. Whole meal was 1 app, 10 nigiri, 1 handroll, 1 dessert. Overall, it’s my favorite omakase in Toronto since Sushi Nishinokaze closed. $95 was a more than reasonable price. I’m curious about the $275 option and will consider going back for that too after a good overall first experience.
