Hello guys welcome back to my Channel today I’ll be making another Turkish classic recipe sutl you can think of it basically like rice pudding but its consistency is a little bit more different I would say it’s a little bit more milky than rice pudding let’s get to the recipe it’s really easy really

Simple first I want to give a disclaimer that when I give out the measurements you can use any type of dish to measure out the ingredients as long as you measure out all of the ingredients with the same cup or whatever you’re using you’re good so we’re going to be using

Half a cup of rice and two cups of water we’re going to add cold water we’re not going to wash the rice it’s going to release the starches but we want that so it’s fine now the rice is completely cooked I’m going to start adding the milk I’m

Going to add five cups of milk now we’re going to wait until it comes back to the boil once it starts boiling we’re going to boil it for about 5 minutes and then add one cup of sugar and let it boil another 5 minutes don’t

Forget to stir every once in a while so that it doesn’t form layer on the bottom you know milk does that when you heat it up so you should stir occasionally to prevent that from happening it’s almost going to start to boil once it boils I’m

Going to set a timer for 4 minutes and then add the sugar in a separate Bowl I’m going to add a little bit of milk about 3 tablespoons and I’m going to add three tablespoons of corn starch and we’re going to mix it and add it to the

Dessert at the end now we add the sugar now I’m going to let this boil for about 10 minutes once the 10 minutes is up I’m going to add the cornstarch slurry and let it boil for another 2 to 3 minutes and then divide this into bowls now we add the cornstarch slurry

We’re going to let it boil for another minute or two and then divide this into bowls you can use smaller cups for parties and stuff I’m going to keep stirring until it boils back up
