My partner loves chocolate and orange flavours together, so I made this cake for his birthday – chocolate cake with orange whipped cream filling and chocolate French buttercream, decorated with ganache and terry’s chocolate orange slices. It’s super rich but very tasty! I’m pretty proud of how it turned out as I don’t do layer cakes like this very often.

Such an underrated flavor combo
one of my favorite combo. i wonder if it would be too much if there were a single thin layer of marmalade. or maybe add cointreau to the whipped cream
