My brother has two spare [30# Manchester propane tanks](https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/manchester-tank-equipments-30-steel-tc-dot-vertical-lp-cylinder-equipped-with-qcc1-opd-valve) and offered them to me. They’ve unmodified and have been used once with pressure cookers.

Are they compatible with regular ol’ propane grills? I’ve never used anything other than 20# tanks. Having the extra volume for summer time grillin’ would be very beneficial.

Thanks in advance!

Should be fine, might not fit in the space under the grill though.

The answer above is correct. I don’t think it will fit under the grill, but as long as you don’t mind, having it hang out in the open, it should be fine… I would imagine it like last longer, being a larger tank – less refilling.
