Another rainy weekend and another (new to me recipe). I’ve made plenty of soups, but this is my first attempt at chicken noodle soup. I think I viewed this classic dish as a bowl of banal. I was wrong. It is yummy.
I halved the recipe to accommodate the ingredients I had on hand. Also, I didn’t have the Mrs. Dash seasoning blend or the fresh dill called for in the recipe, so I used a salt free poultry seasoning blend and dried dill. The substitutions worked fine. The adjusted recipe yielded 5 servings at approximately 290 grams per portion.
