In an attempt to minimize highly processed meats, I would love some advice on how to replace these mini sausage links in one of my favorite easy keto meals. Any ideas that may taste similar?

I would think just any clean sausage would work. Costco has a nice paleo sausage.

Porches, also if you want a change in seasoning try the kinder buttery steakhouse on those Brussels. It is amazing. We slice ours lengthwise and then microwave till tender with seasoning and olive oil, then toss them in the air fryer to get crispy.

I would do a ground meat log. Think log meatballs. Mix beef and pork together, some crushed pork rinds and a bit of egg for binding. Season to taste and make small logs the size of cocktail wieners. Bake or fry or air fry until golden and cooked through.

If you are avoiding sausage, ground meat is also sausage lol. Not sure what kind of links those are, but based on the color I’d guess a mix of pork and chicken. Part of the texture is the fineness of the grind, which you can accomplish in a food processor if you don’t have a meat grinder. For flavor I would start from a basic “barbecue seasoning,” which everyone seems to like: garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and/or cayenne, salt, pepper, a dash of liquid smoke. Cajun seasoning would also be a winner. Shape them into little Brussels sized balls and fry alongside. You can freeze extras on a sheet pan then throw them in a bag so they don’t stick together.
