I can’t speak for the PB1150, but I LOVE my MM36.
Some people buy the PB1150 for the searing capability, but if you already have a gas grill (like I do), then you don’t need that.
Some things to know about the MM36:
1. It comes with a cover, 2 probes, sausage hooks
2. The smoker has factory gasket seals all around the lid and the smokebox
3. I’ve used mine in a wide array of weather and it holds temperature very well!
Only cons I have so far for me is that it only has 2 wheels instead of 4
I have the 1150 v3 and love it I used it in -30° weather and it held temp great and yes a bit more pellets but for the temp it was awesome.. I put a 3rd party blanket on it just recently and my pellet consumption has dropped considerably even in winter weather. I love all the features of the app and being able to control it when I have to make a trip out during a long cook. I have been seeing tons of posts about the mm36 and some good some bad but that’s the same for any smoker. Comes down to what you want and what features you want.
Speaking as somebody whose pit boss died after 2 years, go the members mark. The price is great and the features are amazing, smoke tray is a game changer.
