I made cheesy rice cakes today, but wasn’t paying a ton of attention and just dumped the whole bag into my already cheesy mix of noodles. I realized after I poured it in that one of these packets had come out, now I’m concerned that there was more than one and I just missed it (I was making a large batch in an instant pot) so long question short – does anyone know if these bags of frozen rice cakes come with more than one of these always fresh packets and if yes, are they harmful? Thank you!

maybe other than micro plastics u should be fine . . . i think.
throw it out if u dont feel safe eating it
They’re not poisonous.
Just the one.
It’s fine. at most, you will have a stomach ache.
Its iron and water
That’s dessicant, usually a silica gel (small beads) that absorb moisture and keep the rice cakes from getting wet while in the sealed bag. You typically only find one in packaging, and you definitely don’t want to eat it (can make you vomit, or if a small child has it then it could have more severe consequences). If you found the packet, congratulations! You didn’t add it to your food!
