This sandwich was called the "Behemoth," after a Polish band. 1/2 beef patty, bacon, grilled onions, and two grilled cheese sandwiches for buns.

Kuma’s Corner in Chicago is still kicking if you ever make it out there.

My go to was the Napalm Death, hope the Long Beach situation gets sorted.

  3. ThePolishSubmarine

They are still building the Long Beach one so should be open soon

It’s coming back. They just don’t know when but it’s not like “oh someday” it’s more like “we’re actually working towards it, it’s just taking time”. They’re pretty active on their IG regarding the new store.

JUMP IN THE FRYER was my go to. Each one of those took a solid 3 days off my life but….it happens.

I remember eating at this food truck over ten years ago. Did not know they were still around.

I wrote home about it. The Dee Snider is my jam.

Never understood the hype around this place. It was super expensive and mid tier.

  8. The duckfat poutine were great, but their salt levels too high.

  9. I just found this out TODAY as well. Was sitting in my car googling the drive time and BAM. I wonder how much more the burgers will be if they cited financial struggles as the reason for closing Alhambra. I wonder what the rent was like in that plaza since even Rite Aid went away.

I discovered them when they first started out as a food truck. Truly amazing and I always tell my friends this is one of the better burger spots out there

I believe they should be open in April or May! I’m so stoked

Damn, I had no idea about any of this. Such a shame 🙁

I heard they are moving to Long Beach. So Alhambra is closed, but Long Beach is “coming soon.” 🤘🏽

Some friends and I tried to go the weekend before they were closing, but even then the line to order had more people than could even fit in the restaurant. I’ll always remember watching the first episode of AEW Dynamite there.

Like you said, some folks may not have rated it highly but the folks that loved it really, really loved it.

Napalm Death checking in. As much as I loved having them close to home they will do far better in LB.

  16. DangBlaze88

Eh I’m not sad the food was always so greasy.

I loved the Witte. I was so pissed when they stopped their food truck and set in Alhambra which is far from me. Long beach is further.

I had a behemoth (I think it’s the grilled cheese buns if I remember correctly) and it was really just okay.

Like you, as a huge metal head back then, I thought it was a nice place as metal head but the food is very average in my opinion.
