Our major local brewery in Phoenix hosted their 1st Annual BBQ Competition over last weekend… I won first place in the Brewer’s Favorite category with these burgers.
I used their beer, Kilt Lifter Red Ale, for extra flavor in the homemade pickles. It was also used in the pub cheese, which was blended together with my seasonings.
The burger was seasoned and smoked over pecan, then seared alongside the bacon. Bacon was glazed with a mix of brown sugar, hot sauce, and Dijon mustard.
Chose to remake them yesterday and post the recipe on my YouTube channel.
