This sauce and meatball recipe has been in my family for quite a few generations now. Starting with my great great grandmother. One child from the new generation gets given the recipe. My great grandma had it, gave it to my grandma, my mom then got it, and I was the lucky one who got it for my generation.

Also, I personally love all that juice that drips down onto the plate from the meatballs. Its perfect for soaking into some fresh made bread!

This is a sacred and secret family recipe that does not get shared until the chosen of the next generation recieves it. Therefore, that is a “basic” idea. I hope y’all don’t mind. I just know with everyones love of pasta, it would be fun to share this loved and treasured family gem to some extent.
