But especially for something as common as Sour Cream, I wish they would just give the measurement amount. I pretty much always have Sour Cream on hand anyway, because I usually like to use a little extra. So why not just put it in the “not provided” area, like butter and oils, and save us the hassle?
(BTW, a seriously sharp knife across the entire top is how I deal with them)
