Delicious paleo salmon from PicNik. Also got a matcha latte. Both amazing. It’s expensive but it tasted like a home cooked meal from a private chef.

wtf is that looks like someone threw a bunch of rocks in a to go box! Austin is so ridiculous when it comes to food! What did you pay for that? 20$

Ok before reading the description I was actually going to make a joke about picnik portion size being out of control huge because a lot of jokes I make on here compare tons of shitty cringe austin food to picnik as the standard…this is really it.

I’m so glad I am a decent cook.

There’s a new potato bigger than the salmon portion.

I really really want to judge this, but I’m going to respect your handle 😅

I looked up the place and the menu prices are insane for the portion sizes, they hide behind the special diet veil to justify robbing from their customers!! Wow I’ve never heard of this place and am glad you made me aware to never go there!! 😅

I thought the salmon was a roll 😅

My man gets that plate with a bigger protein serving and better potatoes and it costs us ~$9 and ~20 min labor

I need to spend $35 on that gruel like I need a dick in the ass wow! You got robbed

I’m on a very slow mission to eat everywhere in Brentwood/North Loop and this is the reason picnik is last on the list

I’m sure it’s good and glad you enjoyed your food but 35 for that holy schnikes

Paleo doesn’t mean it had to look like Paleolithic man prepared it.

This looks like it came to you from Whole Foods via their dumpster.

I live around the corner. I’ve been to Suzi’s, been to Pinthouse 25 times, went to Noble Pig, been to The Pit BBQ, been to Gusto, been to Phoenicia bigly. Made it to Dope Chinese, never been to PikNik.

Bro. $35 for 2 oz salmon, some potatoes and veg? You could get a pound of salmon for $20 plus sides at central market or Whole Foods and it would be cheaper per meal for the week. This is a racket and you’re getting ripped off.

This doesn’t pass the eye test for me.

Everything in the box looks like it is cooked poorly. That salmon is waaaay overdone.

Just add water and you have sadness soup

Oh. We judging you. On a scale of 1-white sand how overcooked was your salmon nugget?
