i really want to try making jjajangmyeon but can’t find any chunjang 🙁 the ingredients here are similar, but this might not be fermented? anyhow, do you think this would make an okay substitute?

    No. You need the sweet bean paste 甜面酱. Not the bean sauce.

    from the text on the jar i would assume you are swedish?
    If so you should be able to get the right paste from import stores in Gothenburg or Stockholm and probably malmö. If you cant travel there you can buy it online from [drakfruk.se](http://drakfruk.se), but the unit price and shipping is not the cheapest.

  3. No that is an entirely different sauce, get tianminjang or however its called instead.
