Sauté onion and garlic, brown 1 lb hot Italian sausage. Add to slow cooker with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add two 14 oz cans of diced tomatoes. Add 4 cups of beef broth whisked with 1/3 cup flour. Cook on low 4-6 hrs. Add frozen tortellinis, spinach, and heavy whipping cream about 20 min before serving.
