Chicken with rice and veggies. This is some serious comfort food for our 30 degree Temps in the Great State of Michigan.

    2 lbs of boneless skinless chicken breasts
    3 large carrots chopped
    3 ribs of celery chopped
    1/2 an onion chopped
    Chicken broth
    Cream of chicken soup
    Garlic powder
    Black pepper

    Slow cook the seasoned chicken on low for 2 hours in broth

    Add veggies at the 2 hour mark

    Let veggies and seasoned chicken with broth go for 2 more hours

    At the 4 hour mark, add a Knorr rice mix, I use Creamy Chicken. Also, add the can of cream of chicken soup

    This lasts for a couple of days and is nourishing and delicious. I make it once, sometimes two times a week.
