Making a review of HEB Grasshopper Ice Cream and their ice cream in general as I never hear it mentioned. This ice cream is literally some of the best ice cream I have ever had. Even better than Blue Bell, which is kind of the standard around here. It definitely rivals homemade ice cream in my opinion. The ice cream is very rich, tastes like it’s got a lot of real cream in there. It stays nice and creamy too; doesnt get all weird and icy after a week. The flavors are all really fun and interesting, they seem to have seasonal ones. Grasshopper is my latest pick. This flavor is great, it’s like cookies and cream with just a touch of bright minty flavor. Definitely not overbearing at all but still fresh and minty. Tons of Oreo style cookies in there as well. If you want to try HEB brand ice cream, I highly recommend this one, peaches and cream, and the Texas campfire which is chocolate with graham cracker and peanut butter cups.

I miss Blue Bell Mint Cookies and Cream. That was my favorite flavor of theirs.
I remember hearing that Blue Bell was making the creamy creations ice cream for HEB. Not sure if true or a rumor.
