Very pleasantly surprised to actually get large enough veggies to not have to supplement with extra from the store! Usually I only get one maybe half that size lol

  1. But I am sure those smaller ones are perfectly adequate, right?

I had that same meal last week. I don’t think there was enough carrots for it, plus they were all thin so getting same size cut’s was a bit challenging. Mine turned out mushy after only roasting for 20 minutes 🙁

That was just my first week. One of the other meals I made after had a really nice thick carrot, but all you do with that is grate it lol. This one would have been better for roasting. I might have to check each bag for better carrots in the future. Though I’m picking my recipes now somewhat based on the veggie. Like next week, each meal is a different veggie; broccoli, brussels sprouts and carrots. I feel like these 3 are going to be the most common. I tried getting some asparagus, but I only see those in premium meals.

I’ll likely eventually substitute my own veggies. I like snacking on raw carrots and broccoli so they won’t go to waste.

It’s not the size of the carrot that matters, but how you use it
