After reading the comments on that question, I decided I HAD to try this! I followed my normal sushi bake recipe leaving out the rice, and swapping the imitation crab for salmon. Plus, I decided to add a small layer of cream cheese on the bottom.

I ate this folded up in the roasted seaweed snack sheets, just like a taco. I added my favorite veggies: avocado, green onion, cucumber, cilantro and jalapeño.

    Ingredients:

    4oz Cream cheese

    16oz cooked salmon

    Toasted Sesame oil or Pan spray

    1/4 cup Kewpie mayo

    Sriracha to taste

    1 egg

    Topping:

    Kewpie Mayo

    Sriracha

    Black sesame seeds

    Toasted sesame seeds

    To Serve:

    Cucumber

    Green Onions

    Avocado

    Cilantro

    Jalapeño

    Nori sheets

    Instructions
    1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

    2. Lightly grease an 8×8 pan with toasted sesame oil and spread cream cheese on bottom of pan.

    3. Combine cooked salmon, kewpie mayo, sriracha and egg using a handheld electric mixer.

    4. Spread salmon mixture over cream cheese.

    5. Drizzle over the top some more kewpie mayo and sriracha. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and black sesame seeds.

    6. Bake for 25 minutes.

    7. Serve hot, garnished with cucumbers, green onion, avocado, cilantro, jalapeño, nori and anything else you’d like!

    I’ve never heard of a sushi bake! I thought the point of sushi is that it isn’t cooked, and is usually cold/room temperature.
