Started a gumbo on my lunch break ♥️ came home to this beauty.

    I sliced some green onion andouille, seared it in my @allclad, took it out and added it to the slow cooker with some raw chicken quarters. Cooked down Guidry’s seasoning, added Champagne’s jar roux, deglazed w chicken stock, and added the contents of the pan + all the rest of the chicken stock + seasonings to the cooker. Low until I got home. Shredded the chicken and voila!!!!!!!! 🥰

    DONT come for me I am born/raised in south Louisiana and I know gumbo is typically a labor of love but this was a close second to my normal 9 hour homemade gumbo
