[Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] Of course it wouldn’t be Ramadan without Foody promoting her fake husband’s perfume Scam wow and she claims to have been losing weight in KU wait mortifying all right now I’m going to start making a inab which is dolma or yra or stuffed grape leaves one of my favorites so I’m starting with one onion one tomato diced up and meanwhile I’m soaking one cup of

Long grain basmati rice in some water just to um soften it up and also rinse and wash it then I’m going to sauté the onions and tomato and a bit of olive oil to let them get nice and soft then once the vegetables are softened I’m going to add about two

Tablespoons of tomato paste and just let that cook down a bit as well to get rid of some of the acidity out of the Tomato I’m adding some spices I’m adding a little bit of cinnamon some dry dill dryed Dill in all my years of making

Dolma I’ve only ever used fresh dill and never seen anyone used dry dill you need heaps of it too some cumin salt and pepper to the mixture here and I’m just going to let everything cook nicely together for a couple of minutes or so not too long at

All then you rinse the rice make sure there’s no liquid left and just add the uncooked but soaked rice to the mixture as well and you have your stuffing for the grape leaves personally I would have added some beef or lamb to the stuffing instead of the tomato you’re already

Using so much tomato paste that they only Taste of tomato in the end hi guys okay so I’m going to start making the W inab or the grape leaves some of you might know it as domma so first thing um I need to do is actually cut up some

Vegetables to line the bottom of the pot with which is still in the kitchen but um so yeah I’m going to do that now sliced potatoes at the bottom I’ve never seen this either I have some washed vegetables here I’m just going to cut them about this

Thick honestly I’m not really sure why they do that I put Lemma beans and garlic at the bottom of mine keeps the grape leaves from sticking to the bottom that’s one thing I didn’t look up yet maybe just to prevent the burning from underneath I would assume yeah we’re

Going to just put that there little scraps over here all right so I’m going to cut these oh look more tomato toe just slice it like this so I’m going to do a layer of tomato and then potato but I’ll show you how I layer the vegetables like that I’m

Going to get a plate and we have here the gray plates like this now I’ve never I’m going to take the stem off of that this little stem here I’ve never done this so I’ve looked up a bunch of ways that people do it and here’s the rice mixture what that’s it

That’s the smallest batch of dolma I’ve ever seen someone make something as timec consuming as dolma you usually make enough to fill up an entire large pot I need a spoon all right so I’m going to do a few just like this and then I’m going to put the camera closer

So you can see what I’m doing okay all right let’s try this this is my very first very own grape leaf okay like go like that going to put the mixture Here just a little bit if I do this I’ll be so happy okay and then you’re going to fold it in like that okay then the sides they’re not going to be perfect I’m sure and then you roll it like This not terrible considering her toddler dexterity wow Okay not bad all right I’m going to put them on the plate for now okay I’m going to turn the camera around so you guys can see what I’m doing all right Canada I always sought these out at different um Sharma places Syrian or Lebanese usually

Um and the places that would make the them homemade of course because they’re just they’re so much better homemade like you guys have no idea you guys have no idea G half the world has their own version of a DOL malol loves to think of her audience as uncultured they’re so

Good all right we’re going to take it like that okay we’re going to fold it in fold it in and just like that they’re actually really easy to roll okay the right so these are going to cook I’ll tell you right now um you put some water and you cook them on this

This stove top for um about 45 minutes with some water and then after 45 minutes you make a mixture with pomegranate molasses and things I’ll show you guys and then you cook them for a bit longer another maybe half an hour 40 minutes or so so you’re going to cook

Them for a total of 1 hour and 25 minutes that Rice will be much in the end every recipe is different you know I don’t know wow my very young grend Le I’m so I’m that made the cat freak out okay you guys I’m going to finish up this you

Know it’s going to take a little while so I’m going to listen to something get comfortable roll these all up and then I’ll come back when it’s time to cook them okay I’m so excited yella okay and there they are the rolled walk anab so I

Do have quite a bit of leaves left but you’ll see what I do with them no stuffed onions or veggies either now I’m going to prepare the the pot for cooking yellow all right so here they are now I’m just going to layer the bottom of this big pot okay um with some

Tomato so let me just put that down I have leftover tomato they’re perfect for tomato sandwiches woo all right so we have the tomatoes okay now the potatoes and the potatoes are going to absorb the sauce and the liquid and it’s going to be so good actually I guess it gives them something

To lay on top of as well so tomato potato lining G it’s already been a while since you broke your pot why hasn’t your Scatman husband gone out to get you a new one you’re literally cooking in a bowl okay now we’re going to put the grap

Leaves put them around the pot I’m going to say some of the grape leaves and maybe make another batch tomorrow if this turns out very well because I don’t want to waste the grap leaves I have left over should have made them all today you don’t have

Enough to pack them tightly together in that huge Bowl to help prevent them from bursting I love these so much as you guys all know I eat them very frequently and I’ve never ever made made my own so I’m very excited to see and practice makes perfect with things especially if you’re

Making them for the first time so if they don’t turn out very well that’s fine but I showed Salah he’s like oh yeah they look really nice so we’ll see so that’s how they look in the pot now I’m just going to take some leaves that are not like they they weren’t

Perfect you know like I they were ripped or something like this and I’m just going to cover them it helps weigh them down because you don’t want them floating all around in the pot when they’re cooking apparently that’s what I saw one lady say when I watched the tutorial so I’m

Just going to put some of these on Top okay and to keep it weight weighted down I’m going to put a plate on them like this while they’re cooking so that like I said they don’t float around and I’m just going to cover with foil because I broke the lid to this pot I have the

Outer layer actually I’m going to put foil in the outer layer of the um the lid okay so that’s what I’m going to do um I’m going to pour I’m going to cover these with mostly cover with water and then I’m going to um cook them for about I’m

Going to maybe like 40 minutes or so and then I’m going to add the sauce and the sauce is going to be um 1 cup of water 2 tbspoon of pomegranate molasses and 2 tbsp of sugar and I’m going to pour it over top of them so I’ll show you them

When they’re finished and we’re going to taste test okay BM all right here they are in the pot all cooked so yeah let’s uh dish this out and see what they taste like all right let’s try this moment of truth it feel soft B I’m breaking my

Fast with this then I’m going to pray myr and then I’m going to have atar so They’re exactly how I love Them perfect love let’s try the Potato M you guys you have to try these all right guys thank you for watching this video I hope you enjoyed and more to come Bye

  1. ●○● How long is Prayer time? 5 minutes for Chantal..I WISH she would record herself get down on her knees & getting up off the floor..

  2. 🤣🤣🤣🤦🏻‍♀️Why is she cutting potato on her computer desk with a bread knife?!! ( rhetorical question 😅 I know it’s because she’s regarded )

  3. At around 7:14, why does that gross me out so much? It's so phony feeling. Even if she is genuinely smiling and happy, it still creeps me out.

  4. The process is similar to wrapping cabbage rolls, only more delicate because the grape leaves are smaller and thinner.

  5. Nothing better than to advertise your roommate’s bathroom odour spray while filming yourself in a private and humble moment of prayer and reflection 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

  6. So, i forgot to leave a comment yesterday, but what the fuck is she talking about with the im breaking my fast with this then pray maghrib then have iftar. Iftar IS breaking your fast, and you do it right before praying maghrib, like you eat during the call to prayer for maghrib. How can one woman be so wrong, stupid, and performative at the same i cant.
