Dawson’s has a good flavor. Not quite as hot as I expected.

Over the years I built quite the heat tolerance, but I still love the feeling of very hot sauces.

Sadly I noticed that above like 250,000 scoville most sauces start to taste quite weird/bad. The ‘Karma Scorpion Disco’ I really enjoy though. Da’Bomb is pretty weird, it feels a lot hotter than 135,000 su, but it also tastes awful.

Yes it has a fermented flavor profile. Not sure it is fermented but that’s what is reminds me of. Tolerance built over many years. 🙂

Puckerbutt the reaper and Reaper squeezings

  5. FieryVegetables

Torchbearer has some really good tasting sauces.

Ghost in the Darkness is great with a decent heat it’s got a good sweet a smokey flavor. You can get it at pepper palace.

There will always be a ceiling on the capsaicin you can have in any solution before you start tasting it as a bitter, some say fishy off-note in your sauce. That’s just the reality.

Want more heat? Add more sauce on your food. Pick a sauce you love and shoot it into your mouth for excess heat.

The pursuit of the hottest-with-least-volume is a dead end.

There’s a brand called Woodstock (some were saying used to be Tropical Pepper Co but I’m not certain on that). Maybe not as hot as some of the small batch ones, but they do have scorpion and ghost pepper sauces that are pretty hot in addition to being very tasty and useful for everyday stuff. They’re available in Food Lion if you have one near you, but if not, I think you can get them online. They also have scotch bonnet (pretty good but not very hot) and habanero, which I didn’t care as much for because El Yucateco already fills that niche too well for me.

Bravado and Torchbearer. Anything from either will taste really good. They also bring real heat in the hot varieties

I like Angry Goat, especially Black Bison… not sure of the scoville on it but it’s got a real nice burn and great flavor.

Tabasco Scorpion is the all around greatest hot sauce out there. Even if you don’t like Tabasco. It’s hot as balls too.

  13. Anything Bravado makes
    El Yucateco XXX
    CaJohn’s Fatali

Ghost in the darkness by pepper palace is one of my favorites

  15. It’s expensive, but pepper x experience is delicious imo. It’s probably not as hot as an extract sauce but it’s hot and very tasty.

If you want some serious heat and flavor, try Don Emilio salsa macha chili de arbol sauce. It’s more of a chili crisp. Just peppers in oil. No vinegar. It’s extremely tasty and extremely spicy!

You have to consider flavor with the heat. Sweet? Garlic? Vinegar? A lot of the super hot ones like Da Bomb lack this and don’t taste as good to me. I’ve recently tried Dave’s Insanity ghost pepper sauce; it’s got a pretty good kick and has a tad more flavor than the ones in your pic. Otherwise, I’d recommend something milder like tabasco or sriracha and adding a hotter pepper powder or flakes

Make your own,its like alchemy and potion making for hot sauce lovers

Never had a sauce i don’t love from Heartbeat.

  19. Sarberos

Smoking Marie’s, extortionist (i think that’s its name)

  20. I generally avoid any hot sauces that use capsaicin extract for heat. That’s usually where the bitterness and off flavors come from.

  21. pSyKoSIS219

Puckerbutt reaper squeezins or gator sauce.
Or bertie’s Trinidad scorpion pepper sauce

  22. Eggsakley

Melinda’s hot sauces are incredible, most of them aren’t crazy spicy but they taste great. My personal favourite is the garlic habanero 💦💦

  23. DollarValueLIFO

It took me a bit to learn to enjoy burn after eating and scorpian disco.

  24. MentionImpressive

Raijmakers has some really tasty hot sauces. Not insanely spicy, but very good flavor.

I have been really enjoying Melindas scotch bonet on my egg tacos lately. It is my first time trying a strictly scotch bonet sauce so up next I have Karma Ghost Island. I also really like the flavor of Hotter than Ghost of Saffron and would really like to try the normal Ghost of Saffron because I think I might like it a little bit more.

  26. Burn After Eating is delicious. What didn’t you like about it?

Gemini Crow and High River Sauces both have some real heat with great flavor sauces.. from Gemini Crow: Salvation (one of my favorite sauces, period) and Damnation, and High River: Cheeba Gold, FooFoo Mama, and Rogue. Theyre all delicious and have very nice heat.

  28. JoJack82

Try the Dawson’s Sichuan Ghost sauce, it’s 0.5 lower on the Dawson’s heat scale than the XXX Ghost Pepper you have here and it’s full of flavour and still very very hot

  29. I don’t know if it’s hot enough for you, but I find the tobasco scorpion sauce a really great mix of flavor and heat.

  30. greyteethpeskybee

Classic Garlic Fresno, buffalo, Los Calientes, and ghost pepper with blueberry.

  31. HighSolstice

Get yourself the 4 pack of superhot sauces from Bravado. Their Aka Miso and Black Garlic are fantastic, I haven’t opened the other two yet.

  32. BigBoy1229

If you’re saying Burn After Eating tastes bad we’re gonna have to throw hands. That’s my favorite hot sauce.
