This is my go-to breakfast because it doesn’t dirty a lot of dishes and is easy to make. The day/night before you plan on eating this for breakfast mix:
– 1 cup water or nut milk
– 1-2 tbsp chia seeds
– 2 tbsp ground flax seeds
– whatever fruit you feel like adding. I normally add frozen wild blueberries and frozen raspberries and 1/2 of an apple diced up.
– cinnamon
– cacao powder (I used to add this, but am still looking for a low lead cacao powder brand to buy from)… I’d suggest adding a sweetener if you choose to add cacao since it’s bitter.
– 1-2 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
– 2 tbsp pecans
– sometimes I’ll add the yolk of an egg too for a healthy source of B vitamins.
– this recipe would benefit from a sweetener, but I avoid it since the blueberries and other fruits have sugar and I am trying to eat low carb. If this isn’t a concern to you I would suggest adding a healthy sweetener like honey or maple syrup or monk fruit powder.

After a while I’ve just learned to eye things out and it makes putting this together take like 5min, making it such an easy healthy meal.
