I have developed an adjustable slow feeder for the DF64 Gen1, P and E (DF64 Gen2 version will also be available soon). More about the project in the comments.

The Slow Feeder works via a height-adjustable opening next to the grinder screw. This allows the slow feeder to be adjusted to different bean sizes and the speed can also be slightly varied.
From time to time there are small bumps that solve themselves (can be seen in the video) – I’m still working on this problem at the moment, but I don’t notice them in terms of taste – but the use of slow feeding really does. Of course, it’s not quite as slow as manual slow feeding but I’m totally delighted with the result.
At first I thought that this would be a quick project to develop – but that wasn’t the case, I needed a lot of coffee, filament and time. Which is why I am now offering this for a small fee to compensate a little – it also helps me to develop it further.
If you want to support the project and me you can **get the files here** and of course the updates for free in the future: [https://ko-fi.com/s/bc4aeff924](https://ko-fi.com/s/bc4aeff924)
**The DF64 Gen2** version needs a little bit more time because the screw is thinner – I have to adjust some dimensions so that the smaller surface of the screw head still pushes the beans well into the opening. This requires quite a few attempts. Will update this post for news!
**I will also sell the physical versions after a few more tests**, improvements and feedback. For news on that you can follow me here: [https://www.instagram.com/dubios42/](https://www.instagram.com/dubios42/) or here: [https://ko-fi.com/dubios](https://ko-fi.com/dubios)
In this sub you can find some more info and videos about the development: r/3Dprintingcoffee
*Edit: Some spelling, linked the correct subreddit, added Infos about the DF64 Gen2 version, linked IG for updates, highlighted some parts*

Would you be so kind an PM me when a gen 2 version is available? Thanks

That looks brilliant, I will keep checking back for the gen 2 version as that is my next upgrade. Going on my learning curve of dialing in coffee, I can bet you got through a lot.

Awesome. I want to buy the thing fully made. Is that possible?
