Iv kept raw sushi fish in the fridge for a week. Can I cook it and eat it now? It smells ok. It's really expensive imported fish so I don't wanna waste it if possible.

I mean after two days you’re getting into some questionable territory. You can get food poisoning, such as scombroid, even from fish that tastes and smells fine. I hate to throw food out, but if I were you, I’d probably not risk it I’m afraid.

Oof, not professional advice, but id cook it, maybe fish stew? If it passes the smell test it should be good

This is great. Two other responses. One says you might get sick so throw it out. The other says if it smells ok, you should be ok and make stew. 50 50 chance. Flip a coin and take your chances.

It depends on how strong your immune system is :). Personally I’d eat raw over 1-2 days and might cook for another 1. 1 week stretching it for me personally. A paid lesson I’d say.

P.s that hamachi belly looks good too, it’s a shame.

Should have eaten it sooner. Now I’d rather eat the cost of food waste than that fish raw.
