Bought some chicken thighs for work, chicken wings and turkey for last night’s dinner, and a chicken for the next few days.
Chicken thighs – marinaded in bbq sauce and spice
Chicken wings – mix of plain and the same marinade
Turkey leg/thigh – left plain
Chicken – plain
Everything was smoked at a low heat and smoked with some hickory chunks. I’m so proud of these as the chicken and turkey were some of the juiciest and tastiest bbq food I’ve ever had, and especially some of the best I’ve cooked myself. The heat never got above 330 Fahrenheit over several hours, which has always been the hardest part for me. Everything was pulled off once it hit internal temperature. I wrapped the turkey and whole hicken in tinfoil for a few hours afterwards
