Cooked a brisket last night for dinner today and also smoked a turkey breast that we had yesterday. Definitely happy with the cook. Way more convection and less radiant heat in the 250 gallon Primitive compared to my workhorse 1969. Seems like 275 is the target temp with this bigger pit too so going to work at keeping it at that temp. 225-250 is the sweet spot in my workhorse 1969
