Okay, so this first version is super low calorie, which is good in a sense that it allows me to add to it in order to make it more flavourful, ya know? I love asparagus so much, will dice the tomato smaller next time, and maybe add in some chopped zucchini. Prob sprinkle a little bit of shredded cheese through it too next time, but not too shabby for a quick little Tuesday night whip up. The entire thing comes in at about 280 calories, and a healthy amount of protein.
- 6 egg whites (2/3 cup)
- 1/4 cup cottage cheese (2%)
- 1 whole egg
- 2 cups chopped asparagus
- 1 whole Roma tomato
- 1/4 cup red onion & red cabbage mix (I had some left from a salad so thought why not!)

vegetable frittata!
so an omelette
Okay this is so, so specific, but this kind of looks like one of the candies in the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory with Gene Wilder. It’s in the scene after they get off the S.S. Wonkatania and right before Violet eats the gum that’s supposed to be a three-course dinner that turns her into a blueberry. The candy doesn’t even have a name, I think Charlie just looks at it after the machine creates it lmfao.
It isn’t a quiche without a crust a frittata?
quiches are great and when you don’t use a crust, they are so low in cal! i don’t even miss the crust at all.
