today we show you how to cook some Andouille sausage… starting from Raw sausages… Real good stuff… I had a couple of senior moments in the video … but I liked it too much to re-do it..
I hope y’all give it a try it is very easy to prepare and is just Awesome..
Ingredients
4 Andouille cajun sausages
1 small red bell pepper
1 small green bell pepper
1/2 a small onion
little olive oil…
Salt and Pepper to Taste.. Always 🙂

Hey everybody today I’m gonna show you how to make some spicy sausage and peppers oh yeah baby so I went to the grocery store and it got me some spicy andouille Cajun sausage and what I did here now throw me about a half of a small onion and a bell pepper green man
And a bell pepper red one in there and we’re gonna salt and pepper them to our taste okay and on top of that I’m gonna add my peppers I got some and dewey’s matter of fact I’m gonna do three andouille sausage and one sweet mild Italian sausage for the wife that’s it
Over on the right side you can see it over there okay now squirt your little olive oil on these babies and then we’re gonna put this little lid on just like so and we’re gonna accelerate the cooking of the inside of our sausages okay all right that’s the way they do it
That I mean you wanna Michael you want to cook your insides but you also want to get you some brown on my outsides okay so I figure ten minutes covered on medium heat all right and this is automatically gonna make your peppers and onions too all right so once you get
Them all turned and sitting real good or once you put that lid back on there and we’re gonna go ten more minutes with it on there okay and now after ten more minutes on medium heat pull it off our peppers are more than likely done on the inside because they were raw okay
Now we’re gonna turn them over look at the color which they look really nice the peppers also look absolutely great and there you have it y’all peppers spicy Italian sausage and if you do it this way by putting the lid on you know and kind of using some steam
The water that was in the vegetables made steam and accelerated the cooking and it stops you from having to burn the outside of your pepper you know what I mean if you just cook the peppers without any oil or anything on the bottom of the pan
They just get burned on the outside but they don’t really get done on the inside if you cook them this way you will be very very happy okay give it a try so anyway I went to Walmart and I got myself some of them white sub sandwich
Rolls in a bread section over there by the delicatessen and these things are awesome too they’re really good so I got me some spicy mustard there and I’m adding my n duty sausage and some pepper and the onions and as you can see I had me a little uh vegetables back in the

Oh my, Tom, you hit my sweet spot when you mentioned sausage and peppers! I grew up on Italian sausage and peppers! You kicked things up even more with the Andouille sausage and spicy mustard! My mouth is watering, and you're so right, "hey, that's some pretty good stuff there!" Great job!

I had some ground pork so today I used half to make seasoned sausage patties and the other half won tons (love won ton soup). With a little increase in spice, the patties will work perfectly in your recipe. And your hint about steaming the sausages is right on. Another good one, OMC. Hope you and the Mrs. enjoyed the feast.
