I was enjoying my favorite prepared snack from Bristol Farms: olive oil, danish feta, green olives , and Kalamata olives, on these little La Panzanella crackers. I was deep in ecstasy when I discovered something sinister. Two words; the first on the ingredients list. Canola Oil. It’s not olive oil I’ve been coating the crackers with, it might as well be frickin palm oil. The room began to spin and I awoke several hours later in the dark. It’s true that ignorance really is bliss. This needs to be taken to the highest authorities in the land. Be forewarned.

Label says olives and Danish feta. Doesn’t seem like they’re wrong.

More importantly, Are the cookies still buy 6 get one free?

  6. I think paying over $12 for this is the most disturbing. Bristol Farms is one of the most expensive grocery stores…the only redeeming thing they offer is “the cookie”.

You didn’t hear it from me, but lots of “olive oil” in restaurants is a blend of olive and canola. They sell it in giant containers at restaurant depot.

Most people can’t tell the difference and it is way less expensive.

(Former owner of a diner that sold a TON of Greek salads with canola/olive oil Greek dressing).
