Got my first Traeger yesterday after years of wanting one as a celebration for a good work month. Decided to christen it with the pinnacle of BBQ, a 12 pound brisket that I put on last night.

Hey! It looks like you posted an image!

If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!

    *What seasoning did you use?

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

    Traeger on!

Nice! I got the non XL version coming tomorrow. You happy with it so far/any tips?

  3. For the first one, you went right to the top. 🙌🏼💥

  4. I’ve been thinking of getting one myself for quite a while. Happy to hear that you’re liking it.

Yes! I upgraded from a PitBoss vertical to the Ironwood XL recently and love it. Unfortunately I did fire it up this week for some burgers and the ignitor died. Sucks since I have a brisket to go on for Easter, and I’m sure the replacement ignitor won’t be here in time.
