Why is it on the bottom of the shoe? What is the thought process here?

OP, I think maybe you got Michelin Star and Michelin *Tire* confused. See, they’re using shoes to demonstrate that tires can be recycled into footwear!

If that shoe sole is made of something like fondant or some other food thing (like ice cream) made into this shape…. then it’s fine and kind of cute and a little weird. haha
If that shoe sole is made of rubber/plastic — then nonononono and a Michelin star restaurant should know better. The chef obviously had a brain fart.
