
Hello!! I just bought this (picture is pulled from google but exact match for the item I purchased) and the package says to keep frozen. Can I put it in the fridge to make it easier to use? Not sure how to portion it out if I keep it in the freezer the whole time and it is in glass so I can’t just thaw it out quickly. Any advice on best way to store/eat? I was planning on throwing it on top of rice with some other banchan. Thank you!!

Personally, I just keep it in the refrigerator, especially if you plan to consume it quickly. Seasoned seafood (젓갈) meant to keep seafood long (with lots of salt) in old times. However, if you want to make sure to be safe, thaw them first and then divide them into separate containers for the amount of each time you will use and put them back in the freezer. Put each back into the refrigerator a few hours ~ a day before you will eat them.
