Bought this at the local Korean market in the frozen section and was wondering if it's the right thing to use. My other question is, does it have to be cooked. I saw a maangchi video where she just mixed it with sauce and refrigerated it and another video where they cooked the sauce a bit and then added the squid and pan fried it for a bit. If you have any recommended recipes please post.

    Easiest banchan ever. Mix the sauce separately and stir in the squid (cuttlefish? not sure what the difference is).

    Yes. It’s delicious even if you just eat it. When I eat it as a banchan, I add soy sauce and syrup and stir it in a little oil.
