In today’s lunch break healthy meals to kick off the New Year international travel Chef Joanne Thomas is here to show us how to create delicious meals for clean eating something that we think about we say we’re going to do and within a month or so we’re back to our

Old habits but this looks really good and it smells great chef thank you so we’re making what today today we are making a quoa bowl okay so a lot of times it’s the beginning of the year everybody wants to eat healthy we talk about the New Year’s resolutions that

People don’t continue so this is something that you can continue you can eat regularly it’s not just like oh it’s a healthy meal I’ll just eat it for a little while but it’s something that you can enjoy and it’s flavorful and this is something you can make a head too

Because that’s always the key isn’t it if you if you’re hungry you want something fast fast yes and so also we’re going to make a vinegret a red wine vinegret so in here I have shallots garlic a little red onion cilantro olive oil and the red wine vinegar and I just

Wxed it all up really good okay and a lot of times what people do is they take the salad dressing and they just Dows their salad with it which is not healthy so the best way to make sure you are minimizing the calories and the sugars

And all of that you know what I’m talking about I know I know the trick I know the trick you just take a spoon and you toss your salad with it just enough to get it glistening and then that way you have enough dressing and you’re not eating too much dressing for yourself

Salad and so yes so this is the kale salad that we have right here in front of you and we want to eat healthy like we say healthy clean colorful a lot of times we don’t eat colors so we tast with your eyes right exactly and the

Rainbow should not be to color candies so so in this pot we sauteed some shallot some garlic a little red onion some of my signature spice blend and then we put chicken stock in here on the website you guys have water but you can do chicken stock to give it more flavor

Easy lot easier than rice even it is so easy fast and Fast so you just sauté it the the vegetables and then you put the quinoa in there you bring it to a boil then you let it simmer and you could just work on work on some bacon or

Something or bacon yeah we were talking about we’re talking about bacon during the break and you got you got my taste buds watering and so in here we have black beans we have red onion we have uh Smoky paprika my I like it spicy blend roasted corn and then the quinoa and
