  4. I just made this earlier and it was delicious! Kinda messed up a little with the liquid to rice ratio as it had a little too much liquid, but it turned out great anyway.

  5. Hi Chef, I made this dish twice now and am having an issue with the rice being mushy. Let's me ask a few questions. I preheated the chicken stock before adding it to the dish. I also washed the rice before I put it in the pot. Are either of these steps wrong. Also, since I preheated the stock should I just put the pot on low heat. Any help would be much appreciated.   9. Looks fantastic!! (Minus the green olives for me!) I have been craving rice and chicken lately, so made some chicken breast with rice…. layering each with cheese and baked it! Oh….even my picky husband liked it.

    I don't think I have ever used a bay leaf…. except for keeping certain bugs out of cupboards years ago. I "heard" somewhere that this works, but that was over 30 years ago and I haven't bought any since.

  10. I have a recipe called special chicken and rice . its shredded chicken, bell peppers onion, chicken stock and soy sauce thickened fresh tomatoes peeled and cut into wedges heated thru. severed over rice. this is my favorite recipe I only make I when my tomatoes are producing.

  11. I've cooked this recipe 3 times. The battle seems to be between the rice and the rice in order to get both perfect (I'm surrounded by top noch chefs) . The flavor is alway good. Any suggestions on cooking this without peppers?
