Recipe:
Puff yeast dough – 500 g.
Butter – 30 g.
Granny Smith apples – 3-4 pcs.
Sugar – 3 tbsp.
Cinnamon – 1 tsp.
Raisins – 100 g.
Zest of 1 lemon
Juice of lemon
1 egg yolk
20 g water
Cut apples, melt butter in a pan, add apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Stew until soft. Add raisins. If raisins are dry, soak in hot water for 15 minutes. Drain and add to apples
Remove from heat, add lemon zest and juice. Mix. Let cool.
Roll out dough 4-5 mm thick, add filling, roll into a log. Cut into 2 parts. Make cuts with scissors or a knife.
Mix egg yolk with water, brush the strudel. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 25-30 minutes.
