Found in local FB marketplace for $300. Is this a good grill for a good price? I've only used Weber 22in with any regularity. Thanks in advance

Never used one, but they are over 1k new. As long as it’s in decent shape, I would buy.

Absolutely, Primo is really good quality and produces killer Q.

Yes. I have one it’s great just hard to move. Check the inside ceramic thing make sure it’s not cracked that will cost you 250. Also ask for warranty info most parts are warranties for 10 or 20 years

The ceramic basin I’m talking about looks like a giant bowl made of rock. even if cracked it still works but assuming you’ll need to replace it.

I had that model for years, and the inside shell cracked and broke three times. I eventually just quit replacing it because it was still $70 in shipping even when covered by warranty. Also, I cook high temp a lot, and the gaskets burnt off numerous times. I bought the Louisiana grills/Pit Boss one that they sell at Costco for $600. It is larger, comes with all the accessories, and works much better. Easier to clean out, I have never burned off the gaskets, and the insde has never cracked. Loved my Primo while I had it, but there are better options out there.

Yes get it for 300. I have a primo xl since 2010 and love it. You already have the deflector plates and holders that’s $100 + right there and the stand too. Grab it
Bring 2 guys and a truck. Never pick it up by the hinge. Remove all the guts and it’ll be lighter. I remove everything wear an old long sleeve. Open the lid and reach your hand in grabbing by the lower vent hole.
Better get it won’t last long

No way. If you smoke long pieces of meat loins ribs etc. It has way more functionality being oval.
