Pro tip for boxed mac & cheese in general: make the cheese sauce like a roux! It makes a big difference (I do also usually add a couple slices of deli cheese haha)

My favorite tweak for boxed mac and cheese is to stir in a little sour cream, which also seems fitting for the hello fresh theme 😂
