I feel like this big meal should be more calories than it is, but nope! I weighed everything to the gram with a scale (other than the veggies, I’m not as concerned with overeating vegetables lol so those measurements logged into My Fitness Pal are an approximation).

I’m a huge pasta lover so this was super satisfying! Favorite spaghetti noodles, and favorite sauce!

    I just had something similar! I use a ton of fresh mushrooms and I sub the meat for Trader Joe’s beefless ground beef crumbles. It’s lower calorie than beef and when it’s mixed in with sauce you absolutely can’t tell! I love the carbone sauce, I got the vodka sauce from Costco. Where do you get the arrabiata?

    I’ve never understood why people see pasta as an issue for weightloss. The noodles have calories but that’s it, tomato based pasta sauce is incredibly low on calories for the volume you get.

    The low carb noodle substitutes make tomato based pasta meals under 200 calories easy. It just doesn’t need to be that low to work in your budget, eat pasta with tomato sauce people it’s fine!
