  1. I prefer fish over rice and I’d probably add some thin cut lemon on top of fish or a lemon wedge on the plate. 🙂 Good luck with the wedding!

  2. Liking the content from Kansas City! One of my favorite things when I go down south to Gulf Shores is grilling some big ole shrimp. Its just not the same when trying to do it in KC. Maybe a video on some Grilled Shrimp/Seafood. I notice it hits different down south. I didn't even know what a po' boy was until I went south. Keep up the good work.

  3. Hello Mr Pitmaster, I'm from Louisiana I'm pretty sure you have heard from me before. I love the way you cooked that catfish and it looks so delicious. I don't know who though of this, but down here everybody serves spaghetti with catfish. But to each its own. P.S. But back in the day my grandmother and mom used a brown paper bag to shake up the fish and chicken in before cooking. 😂

  4. I sure am thankful that the algorithm led me to your channel. Thank you for sharing your recipes and advice with everybody. Very much appreciated!

  5. Fried catfish! Been craving some with tartar, slaw and baked potato. Maybe some hot sh puppies. That’s the was we do fish in North Carolina. Just bought some Diamond kosher salt. Dish #4 with some spring onion. The fish looks delicious.

  6. I miss good catfish. I live in Colorado, formerly from the Memphis, TN area. So, things like fried catfish and genuine Memphis BBQ are just not available…Unless you make it yourself.

  7. Oh, man, memories. There was some great catfish from fish farms in places like Batesville, Ark. With tartar sauce…and hush-puppies…and cold beer. Unless the county in Arkansas was dry. Yes, this phenomena still exists today.

  8. Hi there, Love Cat Fish. Haven't had Cat Fish for years. Looks so Beautiful and Delicious for sure. Thanks for sharing a awesome video . I missed the Hush Puppies though. God Bless.

  9. I like both with the lentils or the wild rice. There is a couple variations of this southern dish. You could also garnish with a wedge of lemon. Also on the side I would have hush puppies or mustard potato salad . Like you were saying at the beginning of your segment, one could get a different plate at another house . It’s all good southern style 🤤 Enjoyed this video . Also at a meal ,add a southern dessert like banana pudding.

  10. Rice or lentils … looks like a win-win situation. Anytime I eat fried fish, I've gotta have it with some shrimp cocktail sauce on the side… the more horseradish the better.

  12. Each dish looks pleasing. Traditionally I recall having fish and rice. I have also heard of fish and beans. It just depends on the wedding theme. This dish has deep roots.

  13. Going fishing on Grand Dad's farm down in Haynesville Louisiana. Bringing back a big bucket full of Catfish. That's some good eating, I tell you what.
