hi guys
okay we’re cooking today this is gonna
be really really cute because obviously
Thanksgiving the holidays are
practically here and if you’re gonna be
hosting or even if you’re going to
someone’s house you can bring this as an
appetizer it’s kind of a fun little dish
it’s so simple these are bacon-wrapped
shrimp I actually got this recipe from
the Food Network app which I’m obsessed
with you can download it in the App
Store or Google Play and put it on your
phone or your tablet
they have like live cooking classes that
you can take there’s classes on demand
there’s just so many different recipes
to choose from one was like thousands
and thousands and thousands of recipes
to choose from so I picked this one
actually under their Thanksgiving
section and here we go so we’re gonna
basically juice this entire lemon and I
love the one of these little juicers
things you can get it like at any type
of holy companion type store I guess
because it catches all the seeds so when
you’re doing the lemon it just kind of
like catches everything on the top and
then you have Oh pulpy stuff save it up
top and then your juice so there’s that
and I’m following the recipe literally
from the app so bear with me as I figure
everything out together so the first
thing I’m gonna do is position the rack
in here three to four inches from the
heat that it’s gonna be coming from and
they want me to preheat the oven to the
broiler so we’re gonna do that which
obviously is like super hot so that’s
done
and it says whisk the lemon juice garlic
paprika thyme and olive oil all together
so let’s do that right now here’s the
juice and then when I do the garlic
which I haven’t graded yet so they want
you to grade a whole garlic clove
[Music]
we have a teaspoon of paprika and a
teaspoon of thyme olive oil is three
tablespoons of oil of olive oil and a
half and say 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon
of salt so I’m just gonna get this more
later so you got it all in there we’re
gonna whisk this up this is gonna be the
flava once you have it all mixed up like
this you’re gonna add your shrimp which
is right here and the shrimp is already
peeled and deveined you want to leave
the tails on the bow somebody is that
and we’re gonna just like move all of
this so you want to just basically coat
all of your shrimp in here with that
marinade that you just made and then
we’re gonna pop this in the fridge for
20 minutes and then we’ll take it out
okay so that’s been in there for 20
minutes
you are ready to start wrapping the
bacon so it says one drip at a time take
them out wrap with a piece of bacon and
secure it with a toothpick so you have
12 pieces of bacon that usually comment
in a case you’re gonna have these
because you probably have about 24
pieces of shrimp if you did one pound
grab this bad boy grab the shrimp wrap
the bacon poke it with a toothpick look
at that guy and there was just a chance
I’m gonna be here for a while so we will
speed this part up okay so you have your
shrimps now all on your little baking
pan total throughout the board of a
baking pan but there we go and then all
this extra marinade you don’t want to
throw that out you want to pour it and
use it because it’s like delicious why
not alright here we go
[Music]
so if it’s about five minutes I’m gonna
leave those in there for those baking
pieces we’re kind of thick so I’m gonna
do three minutes then I’m gonna flip
them and then I’m gonna do like another
two minutes took maybe three minutes I
come out looking delish
[Music]
smells so good and a baby’s car this is
the halfway point I’m just gonna flip
them so they can get really crispy on
both sides all right I’m gonna do
another like three ish minutes or so
just depending I want that bacon to be
awesome
let’s look perfect oh my god hang on
stand by everybody so there you have it
obviously I just put a little bit on
this dish the rest are still on the pan
but this is a fun quick little appetizer
that you can make for your guests as
they’re arriving to your house on
Thanksgiving or even the holidays coming
up you know what’s really cool about the
Food Network app is that there’s so many
different recipes to choose from and I
actually found this one today and godly
ingredients like Oh within an hour and
then I had had it already cooked and now
served for you guys well not really for
you but you know what I mean so check
out the Food Network app you can
download it in the App Store Google Play
I’ll like a stuff and put on all your
devices and like I said they have the
live cooking classes and so many many
cool things like on-demand classes so
definitely check it out I’m gonna let
these cool before I bite into it but I
mean how delicious is that it looks
amazing
all right see you later
