Please remember that numbers are not everything and things like this are a real concern as you get older. I see far too many people regularly eating below 1200 and thinking nothing will come of it. Just a reminder to do your research 🙏

    I really hope no one is going with 1200 unless it’s recommended by their activity level and height

    No one should be eating below 1200 at all ever, and even 1200 isn’t a long term sustainable diet. Short term weight loss for petite sedentary women isn’t a sensible lifestyle for anyone long term.

    I’m wondering though, did it say anything anywhere about Jamil’s specific diet? Or just that she was “dieting” for 20 years?

    This lady is 5’10, if she told her doctor she was eating 1200 they would tell her not to do that.

    I’m 5’2, I tell my doctor I am eating 1200 and I lose 1 pound a week and she tells me that I’m doing perfect. It’s not a diet if you’re literally going against what your doctor is telling you to do, it’s self harm and it’s not the same at all.

    Don’t group her in with us.
