Just some info about food safety for you: there’s no way for anyone from reddit to tell you if your bacon is “safe” or not. It’s entirely dependent on how it was stored and for how long. Visuals are never a reliable indicator of food safety (most foodborne pathogens are invisible, scentless, tasteless, etc).

1: Nobody can tell if you bacon is safe to eat or not from looking at it.
2: Meat generally has a lot of redness in the US because of how it’s treated (carbon monoxide gives it that color). If you go to countries that don’t dress up their meat and make it look all pink and fresh, the meat usually has a somewhat grey appearance. That’s normal. It doesn’t necessarily mean the meat is bad. It could just mean it didn’t get treated with carbon monoxide.
3: That’s not how you cook bacon. You need a skillet. You need high heat. And a post-cooked picture would be informative as to what it looked like after it was done. Everyone seems to assume it was undercooked. You say no, but a picture speaks volumes.

Bacon is guds gift to man, but it’s too fat and salt for the average person to be considered safe. In the long run it will kill you…
But so does women, beer, whiskey, having fun, the boys and other cool stuff. Hell, life itself it dangerous! You might die!
