Hi all, brand new to pellet grills. I’m going to build my new Members Mark Pro Series Pellet Grill and I ordered pellets from both Sam’s club and Costco. After shipping delays and issues, i now have free 40lb bags of pellets from both Sam’s and Costco.
Which is preferred by this community? Should I keep both, or give away the Kirkland and keep the Smokehouse from Sams? Vice versa?
Thank you!

You’re going to need both. You’ll burn approx 1lb/hr obviously depending on grill temp and outside temp
Lumberjack is the top tier pellet
I don’t have a Sam’s club membership and like the Costco pellets for the price. They don’t give me a lot of smoke flavor but I use a smoke tube with wood chips in it anyways.
Use them both and see which one you prefer.
Personally I tried both and prefer the Kirkland brand. It’s my standard go to.
I’ve tried Costco pellets and unfortunately I did not get any smoke flavor from them. Lumberjack or Bear Mountain is the way to go.
Use them. Then try another brand. I really think the important part is how well they’re made. For example do they break down
I have used both and prefer the Kirkland over the Sam’s. You might as well keep em both though. All I use is Kirkland for years now. Can’t beat the price and if you want extra smoke get a smoke tube to use as well.
Always been very happy with Sam’s. I used Kirkland once and found that they kept jamming my auger. I replaced the auger motor and no problems since.
My experience is that both burn super fast due to fillers. The Traeger brand burns much slower and consistently. I don’t have a Traeger grill but I do use their pellet products.
